PulpitCue

Bible verses and lower thirds in OBS.

Add PulpitCue to your livestream as a browser source, with a design made for the stream.

One workspace, a view for each audience

PulpitCue gives the projector, the stage monitor and the livestream their own outputs. The stream output includes a transparent lower third, so a verse can appear over your camera without covering the speaker.

Adding it to OBS

  1. In PulpitCue, open the Screens area and choose the stream output.
  2. Press Copy link.
  3. In OBS, add a Browser Source at 1920 by 1080 and paste the link.
  4. Place the source above your camera. It stays transparent until a verse is on air.

vMix works the same way with a web browser input. OBS can run on the same computer or on any computer on the same network.

Network and firewall

The output uses your computer's network address, so OBS on another computer must be on the same network (not a guest network). Allow incoming connections when your computer asks. Other devices can load only the read-only output, never the transcript or the controls.

NDI

NDI output and split screen are licensed features, and NDI output is Mac only for now.
