Church presentation software for Mac and Windows.

What a media team needs, what to ask before you choose, and how PulpitCue fits.

What church presentation software needs to do

A church media team usually needs the same few things every week:

  • Scripture on screen quickly, in a translation the church is allowed to use.
  • Song lyrics and slides that volunteers can run without training in a design tool.
  • A service order to prepare during the week and run on Sunday.
  • Different screens for different audiences: the room, the stage and the livestream.
  • Control that survives a bad day, so one failure does not stop the service.

How PulpitCue approaches it

PulpitCue is church presentation software for macOS and Windows. It puts Bible projection, worship lyrics, slides and a service planner in one workspace, with separate designs for the projector, livestream and stage monitor.

Its distinctive feature is live Scripture detection: it listens to the preacher with speech recognition on your own computer and suggests the passages being read or quoted. Every suggestion waits for the operator unless you choose hands-free mode.

Questions to ask about any tool

  1. Does it run on the computers your team already has?
  2. What happens after the trial ends, and what does the free version keep?
  3. Which Bible translations are included, and how are others added?
  4. Is anything sent to the cloud, and what does it cost to keep running?
  5. Can a new volunteer learn it in one session?

Being honest about limits

PulpitCue's speech recognition is English only and can be wrong, so someone should always watch the screen. NDI output is Mac only. NIV, ESV and NKJV are not included, though licensed versions can be imported. See the release history for the full list.

Try it

The full-feature trial needs no credit card. After it ends, PulpitCue keeps working in a free version. See pricing for what a licence adds.
